- 1). Hold down "Win," "U" and "R" on the keyboard.
- 2). Wait for the screen to load into the Window's icon. If the screen does not load hold down "Win," "U" and "R" on the keyboard again and hold down "F8" while you are holding down the other keys.
- 3). Select "Safe Mode" from the list of options. Wait for the screen to load properly. Once you boot your computer into safe mode you can troubleshoot it to see what caused the blue screen of death.
