- 1). Shut the HP LaserJet 9000 down and wait for it to power off. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to loosen the screws on the top and bottom of the NIC card.
- 2). Pull the old NIC card completely out of the LaserJet 9000. Remove the new NIC card from its packaging and slide it into the printer.
- 3). Push the NIC card into the printer until it is fully seated. Replace the screws to fasten the card down and then turn on the printer.
