How to Decorate Folding Chairs for a Wedding

    • 1). Prepare the tulle fabric. Depending on the particular type and size of your folding chairs, cut the fabric into 2- to 4-foot sections, one section for each folding chair.

    • 2). Wrap one piece of tulle netting around each folding chair, draping it like a sash on the chair back: Place the middle of the tulle section on the top left of the chair back while wrapping one side of the tulle in front and one in back of the chair, meeting at the bottom-right of the chair and tying a knot. Make sure the knot is on the back of the chair so the tulle ends hang down to the ground, not on the seat.

    • 3). Spread out the tulle according to your preferences. You can keep the tulle fairly layered and compact, or you can stretch it out, draping the majority of the back of the chair.

    • 4). Prepare the ribbon. Cut one piece of ribbon for each folding chair you will need at the wedding. Ribbon pieces can be as long or as short as desired, generally ranging from 2 to 3 feet.

    • 5). Place one silk flower next to each tied knot of tulle. Wrap a ribbon around the tulle and flower stem, tying the ribbon in either a knot or a bow.

    • 6). Use a safety pin to additionally secure each flower and ribbon to the tulle section. Cut the flower's stem according to your preferences.
