McChuff is also entered in the Power Sleeping Event. Can he capture the Gold in two Cat Olympic Events? His fans in the About.com Cats Forum thing so.

McChuff (aka The Masked Chuff) came to us as a stray who repeatedly threw himself against our front and back windows, trying to get into our home... quite the feat, considering that the windows are four feet off the ground. We finally caved on during a spring blizzard because he was balancing precariously on half and inch of window ledge, soaked to the skin and miserable.

At first we were determined to foster him and adopt him out, but it soon became apparent that he had a condition known as feline hyperesthesia, which causes him to be aggressive if over-stimulated or if his spine is touched.

Although his symptoms can be minimized by avoiding the conditions that trigger them, he is a special needs cat and as such has remained with us since coming in from the cold.

He is quirky, both highly intelligent and surprisingly dumb (often at the same time) and brings much laughter into our home. He is often found perched on top of doors, sleeping in laps, hiding in garbage cans, or waiting patiently at the mouse holes in his home (they are actually sink drains, but no one can convince him otherwise).
