- Identify your self-limiting beliefs.
It is possible, even probable, that a self-limiting belief is keeping you in your place of stuckness.
Make a list of all of the thing you believe you can not do, should do, ought to do and must do regarding your stuck issue.
Go over that list and take the role of an objective third party.
From that perspective of an objective third party ask yourself what the real truth is about each of the things you wrote down.
Next replace the self-limiting belief with a new more useful belief.
You might want to create a three column chart to do this.
Label the columns Belief, Truth, New Belief. - Manage your self-talk.
You know that little voice that is so active - constantly telling you how bad, dumb, awful you are? I call it your inner critic or your critter.
It talks to us all of the time and it's only real purpose is to make up miserable, to make us believe we are unworthy or worse.
It causes so much havoc in our lives and we don't even realize we are letting it rule our thoughts and behavior.
You probably have already found that there is no sense arguing with it.
That only causes it to talk louder, faster and uglier.
You cannot seem to ignore it - that makes it mad and again it "ups" it tempo.
You best bet it to listen, thank it for its advice and then more on.
Once you have acknowledged it you are free to make your own decisions believing that your Critter is merely one other source of input and a poor one at that.
Now look for other input that is more objective and realistic and pay attention to that.
It is very helpful to look in to each of these if you are stuck and try working on them to get your self unstuck.
