    • 1). Recall whether or not the stove was noisy when it was first installed and used. If it was not, proceed to step 2. If it was, research the brand to find out if they are typically loud. Calling the manufacturer and speak with them about the specific noises and ask for recommendations.

    • 2). Check the temperature. If the temperature is set relatively high, consider if the noise is the result of the stove having to run constantly to remain at the set temperature.

    • 3). Adjust the temperature on the remote to a lower setting, and wait about an hour. If the noises slow down or stop altogether, then that is your problem, the temperature was too high for the stove to keep up. If not, proceed to step 4.

    • 4). Call the manufacturer and see if there are other adjustments such as pellet type or opening vents wider that can be made, or ask if your stove is still under warranty. If no adjustments can be made, and it is not under warranty, consider purchasing a new system.
