- 1). Toggle the wireless switch on the computer. Some computers have a physical switch on the outside of the computer. Other computers have a software switch that's activated by pressing a certain key combination. Typically, the combination is "Fn" plus "F2," though your computer may be different.
- 2). Click the "Network" icon in the lower right corner of the screen by the clock.
- 3). Click "Open Network and Sharing Center."
- 4). Click "Change adapter settings."
- 5). Right-click the Atheros wireless adapter, and then click "Enable."
