Terms of Service
Last updated: October 3, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the landing page design and development services provided by ThatBiz LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("ThatBiz", "we", "us"). By paying a deposit, submitting a project brief, or otherwise engaging us, you ("Client", "you") agree to these Terms.
1. Who we work with
ThatBiz provides services to businesses located in the United States. We do not currently accept clients outside the United States. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you are authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of the business you represent.
2. What we do
We design and build custom landing pages for businesses running paid advertising. The exact scope of your project — pages, sections, animations, integrations, and how the finished work is delivered — is set out in the written quote we send you. Anything not described there is out of scope.
3. Fees and payment
- All fees are quoted and payable in US dollars.
- A deposit of 50% of the agreed fee is due before work begins. The deposit reserves your place in our schedule.
- The remaining 50% is due before the final files or the live page are handed over.
- We quote per project rather than publishing a rate card. Your written quote is the agreed fee.
- Work you request beyond the agreed scope is quoted separately and must be approved in writing before we begin it.
4. Timelines
We aim to deliver your first preview within 72 hours of your deposit clearing and your brief being complete. That is a typical turnaround, not a guarantee. Larger or more complex projects take longer, and the clock does not start until we have everything we need from you. If you need a firm or faster deadline, expedited scheduling is available for an additional fee agreed in writing in advance.
5. Revisions
Every project includes two rounds of revisions. A round is one consolidated set of changes, so please gather your feedback before sending it. Additional rounds, and changes that alter the agreed direction or scope, are billed at our then-current rate.
6. What we need from you
We rely on you for your ad copy, creative, brand assets, product information, and any claims you want the page to make — and for timely feedback on previews. You confirm that you own or are licensed to use everything you send us, and that it is accurate and lawful. Delays in materials or feedback move your delivery date.
7. Work we will not take on
We decline projects involving:
- illegal products, services, or offers;
- deceptive or unsubstantiated health, medical, or income claims;
- adult content;
- material that infringes someone else's intellectual property;
- content that harasses or incites hatred against any person or group.
We may decline or stop a project that falls into these categories at any point. If we stop work for this reason after starting, fees already paid are not refunded.
8. No guarantee of results
We build pages. We do not control your advertising, your offer, your pricing, your market, or your competitors, and we cannot and do not promise any particular conversion rate, cost per acquisition, revenue, or other result. Nothing said in a call, email, or proposal should be read as a performance guarantee.
9. Ownership and portfolio rights
Once your project is paid in full, you own the landing page we delivered for you — its copy, layout, and design — and you may use, modify, and host it as you wish. Until final payment is received, the work remains ours.
We keep ownership of the reusable components, templates, and code libraries we bring to a project, and of anything we built before working with you. You receive full rights to the delivered page; you do not receive an exclusive claim over the underlying building blocks.
We may show your finished page in our portfolio, case studies, and marketing. If you would rather we did not, tell us in writing and we will keep it private.
10. Third-party services
Your page may rely on services we do not control, such as hosting, your website platform, analytics, booking tools, or payment processors. We are not responsible for their availability, pricing changes, or failures.
11. Cancellation and refunds
Our Refund and Cancellation Policy forms part of these Terms.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to your project is limited to the total fees you paid us for that project. We are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost advertising spend, lost data, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, even if we were told they were possible.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and both parties consent to that venue.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The version in force for your project is the one published when you paid your deposit; changes do not apply retroactively to work already underway.
