- 1). Prepare your center piece of yarn for the bracelet. Tie a double knot 1 foot from one end of the 6 1/2-foot piece of yarn. Slide on one bead. Move the bead up the yarn another foot and tie another double knot. Slide on a second bead. Continue doing this pattern until all beads are on the yarn.
- 2). Prepare to braid the three pieces of yarn. Put the piece of yarn with the beads in the center of the other two pieces of yarn. Their ends should meet. Fold them in half and tie a knot in the center.
- 3). Place the knot near the edge of a table and tape it down to secure it while you braid the yarn. You should have six pieces of yarn.
- 4). Braid your yarn. Take the outer piece of yarn on your left side and loop it over and under the piece next to it and make a knot. Take the same piece of yarn and make a knot on the remaining five pieces using the same technique.
- 5). Grab the two pieces of yarn on your left, the two middle and the other two pieces on your right. Begin braiding the three groups of yarn together by crossing the right-hand section over the middle section. The right-hand section is now the middle section. Now, cross the left-hand section over the middle section. The left-hand section is now the middle section. Repeat this pattern, braiding down until the bracelet is long enough to wrap around the wrist.
- 6). Tie a knot to secure the braid. Cut the excess yarn, leaving enough to tie the bracelet around the wrist.
