Don"t Let Long Term Illness Keep You Out of the Work Force

In traditional business, if you suffered from a long term illness, it was very difficult to keep a steady job.
Let's face it, you couldn't exactly say to your boss "Look I can probably get 6 hours in over the next few days.
I'll just have to see how I am going".
It put pressure on you, the one who's trying to recover, and that's not to mention the pressure it put on your boss.
When you are ill, the last thing you need is added stress.
The worry of if and when you can work, for how long, how productive you will be, whether you will even be able to keep your job.
Plus you may have financial stresses as well.
Wondering how you are going to make your mortgage payments, wondering if and when you will recover, the cost of doctor's bills, medications etc.
These days, the home based business industry has opened up a whole new world of possibilities for sufferers.
Working from home can provide you with the flexibility you need to help with your recovery process.
If you are like I was, and are not able to drive your car due to illness, working from home could be the perfect solution.
As long as you are able to do some work on a regular basis, your own work from home business could definitely be just what the doctor ordered.
There will be a learning curve, as there is with any new thing you start.
And depending on the nature of your illness, you will have to pace yourself and make sure you don't overdo it.
But the beauty of it is that a work from home business does provide you with that much needed flexibility.
For me, starting my own work from home business has been the perfect solution.
The flexibility it provides, as well as the peace of mind has done wonders for me and my health.
My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.
