Network Marketing Recruiting Success: How To Pick A Network Marketing Success?

In a previous article, "Smart, Not Hard MLM Recruiting Success Methods", we stated the following: "Many MLM recruiting techniques emphasize QUANTITY - get as many people in as possible and other MLM recruiting techniques emphasize QUALITY - be more selective in terms of peoples' experience, motivation and personality before you sign them up.
The truth is somewhere in between.
Both approaches will produce duds and missed opportunities.
You will never really know until the person joins and performs.
Therefore, set whatever "qualifying criteria" you are comfortable with without too much "pre-judging" and tweak it as you go along.
My experience has shown that the prospect's strength of motivation and your personal rapport with him or her are your two best criteria.
" So what criteria should you be looking for in your next recruiting success story? VERY IMPORTANT - DO NOT APPROACH RECRUITING FROM A MENTAL STANDPOINT OF SCARCITY - IT WILL KILL YOU BEFORE YOU EVEN START! By SCARCITY, I mean a sense of having a limited number of people to choose from, leading to a sense of DESPERATION.
"Gee, I have to take this one, I don't have anyone else and I won't make my goal for the month.
" This mindset will sabotage your efforts.
It is short-term "feeling" vs.
long-term thinking.
The best way to avoid this emotional trap is to have a constantly full pipeline of prospects.
"I don't need to settle for him, I have 10 more waiting for me to call them back.
" This is also why I strongly recommend the use of the Internet as part of your Network Marketing recruiting success plan.
It can give you 20, 30 or more new prospects EVERY DAY, providing you with an ABUNDANCE of new prospects.
More on that in a future article.
Be in the right frame of mind - you are hiring this person to work for you and with you.
You will be speaking with them very often.
Your success is largely dependent upon their success.
This is not an exact science, but you certainly want to put the odds in your favor.
Honestly, it starts with your gut and ends with your gut but you have to use your head in between.
So, let's begin.
Do you LIKE this guy? Can you see yourself getting along with her? True, this is a gut feeling but DON'T FIGHT IT! This is a people business even if it is done over the phone.
If his accent is so thick, if her perfume is so strong, if his breath is so bad that you really do not like being with him or her - NEXT! If they otherwise seem to have potential give them to another team member who can handle that issue.
Don't be selfish, just let someone else be their sponsor.
Now for the more objective factors: Schooling - Ethnicity - Work Experience - Communal/Religious Activities - Professional Affiliations/Memberships.
These are all important because, "no man is an island", people work and play in groups and all of those relationships can be leveraged.
Network Marketing recruiting success is very much about credibility and trust.
I once saw two firemen from opposite parts of the state meet for the first time and in seconds were friends and calling each other, "Brother".
Even as strangers, but through their common training and experience, they had an instant rapport with each other.
They had instant credibility and trust.
This should be recognized and utilized as a strength and goes far beyond friends and family.
All types of First Responders have a respect that opens people up to them.
On the other extreme, real NERDS and GEEKS are a long shot due to their stereotypical introversion and analytical styles.
Of course, there are exceptions to all of these generalities and maybe now this actuary is beginning to show his true people-person nature.
Finally, we come back to your gut.
People Join People.
Is the person Genuine, Friendly, Likeable and have a Sense of Humor? Would you join this person's team? Do you think their motivation is honorable and strong? What is their WHY? Do they seem truly entrepreneurial or just grabbing at the next straw? In summation, do whatever is takes to have an abundant supply of leads.
I recommend utilizing the Internet.
Hopefully, your head and your gut will agree.
If they don't agree, then bet your Network Marketing recruiting success on your gut.
Good luck!
