Cleaning Drains

• 1). Fill a bowl with 1 cup of hot water. Add 1 tsp. liquid dish soap and mix until the water is sudsy.
  
  
• 2). Dip a pipe cleaner brush into the soapy water.
  
  
• 3). Scrub the inside of the pipe with the scrubbing brush until it is completely clean. Brush the pipe until the pipe cleaner doesn't come out of the pipe dirty or covered in soap scum or biofilm.
  
  
• 4). Rinse the pipe with clear water from the tap.
  
  

Cleaning Disposals

• 1). Turn the water on and run the disposal for 30 seconds. Turn off the disposal.
  
  
• 2). Plug the sink and fill it 2/3 full with hot water.
  
  
• 3). Add 4 tsp. of liquid dish soap to the water and mix it until it is sudsy.
  
  
• 4). Remove the plug and run the disposal until the water drains completely. This will clean the walls of the disposal and the drain.
