Activities done vary from time to time.
All students are supposed to participate unless with relevant medical issues that is verified by doctors.
Example of activities done in school is football, basketball, running and jumping.
You can also teach your children physical education from home.
Home should be the first place to start with and parents should do their part too.
What to do? You should play outside at the lawn, take the stairs instead of the elevator and ride your bike or walk to the store every day.
These are the tasks that you should do as much as possible.
Do you know that picking up your own toys and storing them back to their own place is also an exercise? Do make it a habit! Ask your kids pickup their toys from now on.
It is not only a physical workout but also responsibility.
It was them who took out the toys to play, so they have to keep them after playing.
Aerobic exercises and recreational activities are to be done 3-5 times a week and 20 minutes each.
You should not over do because you'll get exhausted.
Examples, running around the field, play basketball with friends, swimming in an Olympic sized pool and organize relay races with friends.
You can improve your flexibility and strength; at the same times have fun and leisure doing activities like canoeing, push ups, golf, and karate for self defence, although is a type of martial art for 2-3 times a week.
It is important for everyone; both children and adults because it helps to maintain health and fitness such as prevent and treat disease as we grow older, allows us to have fun with people around us, and teaches about ethical behaviours.
