- 1). Click "Start," "Run" and then type "msconfig" into to text box that appears.
- 2). Click "OK" or press the enter key. A system configuration window will appear.
- 3). Click on the "Startup" tab.
- 4). Uncheck the box next to each program that you want to stop from starting up automatically when you boot your computer, click "Apply" and then "OK."
