"Pokemon" is a popular series of games and cartoons that features characters trapping monsters and using them in battle. "Pokemon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition" was released for Game Boy Color in 1999. The game features minor tweaks of the earlier Red and Blue editions, such as a walking monster that was absent in earlier games. It also features many cheats. - This cheat will help your Pokemon rack up huge amounts of experience, quickly leveling them up to be even stronger. Start a fight with the Pokemon you want to gain the experience on the top of the list. Once the fight begins, quickly change your Pokemon by placing your strongest Pokemon at the top of the list. After you fight the battle, both Pokemon will get the experience points, but your weaker Pokemon will have been out of harm's way during a fight that could hurt it badly. Use this tactic against strong enemies to get more experience points.
- The bosses in this game can be tough to beat if you don't know the tactics behind each boss. Each Pokemon has an element that they favor and the boss Pokemon are no different. If you want to beat Brock, use a water or grass Pokemon. Misty is easily defeated with a grass or electric Pokemon and Lieutenant Surge is hurt by a rock or ground Pokemon. Defeat Erika with a fire or flight Pokemon. Sabrina can't stand up to bug or ghost Pokemon and Koga is defeated using the psy Pokemon. Blaine is easily defeated by Pokemon using water and ice. The final boss Giovanni is defeated by using water, ice and plant Pokemon.
- Select your attack during battle and wait until it states you are about to use the attack. This will be when it says "Such and Such used This Attack." Right when it says that, hold down the A button. Keep holding it while your opponent's life bar is draining from your attack. Let go just as it finishes. You should be able to add a few more hit points each time. You have to press the A button just as it displays the attack screen or it won't work. Getting the timing down can be tricky but once you get the hang of it, you should be dealing out massive damage.
