Download Root Files

• 1). Insert the MicroSD card into your computer SD card reader.
  
  
• 2). Download the AutoNooter file to your computer. Go to the file. Right-click on the file and choose to unzip the file. Choose your file location where you want the unzipped files to go.
  
  
• 3). Download the Win32DiskImager to your computer. Open the program.
  
  
• 4). Click on the folder button. Select your unzipped autonooter file. Choose your MicroSD card as the device. Click the "Write" button.
  
  

Root Nook Color

• 1). Charge your Nook Color using your USB cord.
  
  
• 2). Turn off the Nook Color. Insert the MicroSD card into the Nook Color slot. It is located in the bottom left of the device.
  
  
• 3). Plug the Nook Color into your computer using the USB cord that came with the device. The rooting process begins. You should notice the Android splash screen appear on your device when it is finished. The device powers on when the root is complete.
