How to Convert Labels to a Flat List

    Change the File Type.

    • 1). Open a label list in your word processor.

    • 2). Save the list as a text file by changing its file type to a "TXT" extension.

    • 3). Reopen the file in Notepad or in your favorite text editor. The labels will appear in a flat list.

    Convert the Label Data to Text.

    • 1). Open your labels in Microsoft Word.

    • 2). Select "Table," "Convert" then "Table to Text." Choose a character of your choice in the "Convert Table to Text" dialog box.

    • 3). Press "OK" to convert the labels into a flat list of text.
