Pilot Light

• 1). Open the access panel and turn the control knob to "Off." Allow 5 minutes so that gas can clear the lines before moving forward.
  
  
• 2). Press and turn the control knob to "Pilot" while pressing the red button to ignite the pilot light.
  
  
• 3). Wait 30 seconds to 1 minute and then let go of the red button.
  
  
• 4). Turn the control knob to "On" once the fireplace is lit.
  
  

Remote Control

• 1). Turn the fireplace on by pressing the "Power" or "On/Off" button.
  
  
• 2). Press the desired fireplace mode. Most remote controls have up or down arrows to change the thermostat temperature or a "Smart" or "Regular" mode to light the fireplace at a set point.
  
  
• 3). Press the "Power" button or "On/Off" to turn the fireplace off when finished.
