How to Write Letters to Santa for the First Christmas
- 1). Sit with your partner to talk about what your baby might like to receive from Santa at Christmas. Allow your baby to sit with you; she will be too young to understand but will enjoy being with you while you talk. Discuss all the possibilities thoroughly until you and your partner agree on a list of items to put in the list.
- 2). Write the letter to Santa, placing your name and address at the top right-hand corner and beginning the letter with "Dear Santa." Read it aloud to your baby to include him as you write. Be sure to say who the letter is from on the first line using a phrase like "My name is ... and I am 8 months old." Santa only gives presents to good boys and girls, so remember to say just how well-behaved your baby has been during the year. Finish the letter by writing "With love from" and the name of your child. Photocopy or scan the letter to keep for yourself.
- 3). Search the Internet for a suitable company that sends replies from Santa to your child. Post your letter to the address indicted on the website, enclosing any payment required to ensure you receive a reply.
- 4). Carefully store the reply from Santa when you receive it to show you child when she is older.
