Facial Moisturizers - Secrets the Brand Names Don"t Want You to Know!

Trying to decide on which facial moisturizers or facial cream to buy can be confusing to say the least.
The list of ingredients in most facial moisturizers or facial cream can leave you wishing that you had advanced your education beyond what you did.
Many of the ingredients on the label are not easily recognizable.
This could be a sign that some of the compounds included in these facial moisturizers may not be exactly what you would ideally want to put on your skin.
Some of these inclusions may even be harmful to your health.
A lot of cosmetics manufacturers like to cut production costs by utilizing just a bare minimum of actual active ingredients and the rest of the formula are made up of unnecessary chemical additives and fillers.
This leaves more money available for the marketing of their facial moisturizers or facial cream.
Profit is after all the bottom line in any business, but there should be stiffer regulation on what is allowed to go into your facial moisturizers.
A cosmetic firm is allowed to include even suspected or known carcinogens in their products.
Some of the various chemicals used regularly are known to cause birth defects, nervous system damage and thyroid dysfunction.
Scientific reviews of some of the top cosmetics companies revealed that the FD&C coloring additives used in lipstick contain measurable amounts of lead.
There is no amount of lead that is deemed as safe.
So if you are one of those people who wear lipstick on a daily basis, you may be doing irreparable damage to yourself.
The guilty companies are fully aware of the toxins in their products, but choose to change nothing about their practices.
Why should they? The FDA has an allowable limit posted for lead in candy, so there is no real punishment that they will receive for anything found in their facial cream or any other products.
This problem is prevalent with any cosmetics produced here in the United States.
European companies have all signed the "Compact for Safe Cosmetics" which binds them to the far stricter standards of the European Union's Cosmetic Directive.
If I were you, I would seriously consider ordering my facial moisturizers and facial cream from one of those companies.
The European countries tend to lean more towards the organic rather than the chemical route which to me makes the most sense.
Why would you want anything other than all natural ingredients in your facial moisturizers anyway? Honey for instance is an often underrated natural ingredient for body lotion and creams.
Honey has been found to possess antibacterial, antiseptic and antioxidant properties.
Researchers have also discovered that certain kinds of honey are capable of doing even more.
There is a particular bush native to New Zealand that gives us honey in its most active form.
This form of honey has been shown to increase new skin cell growth, plus it assists in increasing collagen strength and improves elasticity.
Any facial moisturizers or facial cream containing ingredients like this one would be of great benefit to the user, and healthier too.
