Tweakers, and Sonny before, are both lucky cats who were adopted when older, thanks to drussell41.

Tweakers is a 12 y/o cat who was rescued from a kill shelter. He was left in a box outside the shelter with only a note bearing his age and name. He was very scared when first adopted and acted very, very ferocious. He has since come around to be a very lovey cat when he's in the mood and no other cats are around. He loves cheese and all things dairy. He begs in the most adorable manner, leaning against the cupboard, looking up with big, innocent eyes, and waving one of his furry paws at you.

He must have been dearly loved by someone before being taken to the shelter. He is quite a character, and we are so glad he is in the family.
