How to Light a Nativity Set

    • 1). Place three flashlights on the lawn pointing toward the nativity set. Larger flashlights with handles and are square in shape work better for this than the smaller, rounded flashlights. These can be found at most home goods stores or building supply shops.

    • 2). Snake some strands of twinkle lights at the back of the display and around the feet of those in the nativity so they are lit from below. Secure the strands in place using a staple gun, shooting the staples into the lawn.

    • 3). Place electric candles around the display to add ambient lighting. Electric candles are battery operated and safer to use than real candles, and can be found at most home goods stores or candle shops.

    • 4). Break some white glow sticks and drop them into the crib where baby Jesus lays. This will provide a glow without using electricity. Glow sticks can be found at party supply stores or dollar stores.
