- 1). Connect one end of the standard MIDI cable to the port labeled "MIDI IN" on the left side of the MIDI Pro-Adapter.
- 2). Connect the other end of the MIDI cable to the "MIDI OUT" port on the MIDI controller device you want to use. The MIDI Pro-Adapter documentation includes a list of devices tested to be fully compatible, but most standard MIDI controllers will work.
- 3). Connect the MIDI Pro-Adapter's USB cable to an available USB port on the front of the PlayStation 3. You are now ready to use the MIDI Pro-Adapter with "Rock Band 3."
