- Make sure your PlayStation Portable is not plugged in. Insert the Magic Memory Stick and the battery and turn on the system. An options screen should appear for how to install custom software.
- Follow all of the directions on the screen. When the download is complete, shut down your system by pressing the "X" button.
- When you turn the system on for the first time, it will appear as though it is not going to work. Wait for a few moments, and it should work fine.
