How to Move E-Books From Overdrive to Stanza

1). Download the books you've purchased from an Overdrive approved reseller or retailer and place them in a folder easily remembered. Download and install Calibre.
2). Open Calibre and import the folder with your books into the program using "Add books" in the upper left. Click "Convert books" on the top bar, and select "EPUB" as the format. This is necessary because while the format for Overdrive books is already "EPUB," they are protected by DRM that prevents them from being read on some devices. This strips away the DRM, allowing them to be freely transferred between different e-reader devices, including the iPad, which displays e-books using Stanza.
3). Add these converted EPUB books to your iTunes instance, by file or folder. Alternately, you can add them to the iTunes folder, but this may be less convenient than "pointing" them to the original folders, within the iTunes program. Sync your iPad to upload these converted books.
