    • 1). Start your email application on your computer.

    • 2). Type the address of the primary recipient in the "To" field.

    • 3). Type the address of a second person in the "Cc" field.

    • 4). Type a subject in the "Subject" field.

    • 5). Type text in the email message window, such as "Please find attached the document that you requested."

    • 6). Click the button for attaching files, often labeled "Attach," then click the folder on your computer containing the document you want to attach to attach it to your message. Some email programs enable you to simply drag a document from its folder on the computer's hard drive into the attachments area of the email message window.

    • 7). Click "Send," then the email message and its attachment go to the recipients in the "To" and "Cc" fields.
