Illusion Mage - Too Good to Be True?

Game designers, illustrators, graphic designers, and other visual artists - both amateur and professional - are going gaga over Illusion Mage. As a dedicated graphic designer and illustrator I just had to find out what all the hype is about. As I searched the internet I was unprepared for what I found - or didn't find. Not a single negative review about this electrifying design software. In fact, I found that almost everyone felt it goes beyond their initial expectations. Naturally I had to try it out for myself.

Illusion Mage software boasts a capability of advanced 3D modeling, complex 3D shading, interactive 3D rigging, and creating realistic particles and physics. With it you can create video games, 3D cartoons, leading edge animations, natural-feel environments, and 3D architecture. When I opened the software package I first noticed that it comes with about 6 hours of comprehensive video tutorials teaching you how to accomplish each type of animation that the program is capable of creating. In addition, there is a CD reference guide which is fully illustrated for those who prefer reading their instructions.

While the huge number of applications a user can access seems to be a big selling point, the sheer volume of tutorials included might put some people off, making it seem that the programs will be too hard to use. I found that not be to the case, however. The information is not overwhelming as it is well organized and can be searched according to task and challenge.

Another big draw was the user-friendly program interface. Both attractive and straightforward, I believe this program's interface will be easy to use by beginners and advanced users alike. In fact the user friendliness, attention to element, educational products, and low price tag have made a believer out of me.

Creating 3D animation can be a drawn-out, tedious affair previously requiring that you spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars purchasing 3D animation software. Most of us, whether seasoned professional or newbie, don't have the cash resources to spend on expensive software programs, which is why I went searching in the first place. In my opinion, and in all of my research, Illusion Mage, with its $47 price tag is just as good as 3D Max and Maya at a fraction of the cost. Is it the best 3D software? If you work at Pixar or DreamWorks you might not want to carry it that far, but I actually think so.

All in all I highly recommend this software program to anyone who is passionate about creating high quality animation.
