- 1). Unplug the power cord from the electrical wall outlet.
- 2). Slide the Hoover Elite 920 away from the wall to allow access to the back of the machine.
- 3). Remove the four screws holding the rear panel in place. Lift the rear panel away from the washer to remove it.
- 4). Slide the old belt off of the pulley system.
- 5). Position the new belt around the pulley system. Adjust the belt so it fits into the grooves of each pulley.
- 6). Replace the rear access panel. Replace the four screws that hold the panel in place.
