    • 1). Cut one piece of Fireline two-and-a-half times the length of the necklace using scissors. Cut a second piece twice the length of the necklace and set it aside for later.

    • 2). String one 1/4-inch, round bead on the wire and bring to the center of the wire. Add a seed bead on each side of the round bead. Add a second round bead and a seed bead and a third round bead onto the left Fireline. Add a 1/2-inch, elongated bead and a seed bead to the right strand. Thread the right strand through the last 1/4-inch bead on the left strand, entering where the left strand is exiting. Pull on both strands to make a four-bead circle. Your last 1/4-inch bead becomes the new start bead for the next set.

    • 3). Add a seed bead on each side of the 1/4-inch, round bead. Continue until you reach the length you want. On your last set, tie the ends of the Fireline together and trim the ends so that the knot will slide inside your last 1/4 inch round bead.

    • 4). Measure 6 inches from the end of your second Fireline. Wrap tape around the line. Thread the other end of the Fireline onto a beading needle. Place your existing half of the necklace horizontal on the worktable facing you, with the 1/2-inch beads facing down.

    • 5). Thread your needle through the left side of your leftmost 1/2-inch bead. Add six seed beads. Take your needle through a 1-inch pendant bead. Add six seed beads. Thread your needle through the left side of your next 1/2-inch bead. Repeat across the entire necklace. Pull the line snug with needle-nose pliers.

    • 6). Add six seed beads. Thread your needle through the loop on a necklace clasp. Add six seed beads. Bring your needle through the 1/4-inch round bead on the end of the necklace. Pull snug. Thread your needle back through the same seed beads, loop, and seed beads. Bring your needle back through the 1/4-inch round bead and pull snug. Repeat a third time and tie off the end of the line so that you can hid the knot inside the 1/4-inch bead. Your knots should be tight. Use pliers to help pull them tight.

    • 7). Remove the tape on the beginning of your Fireline. Pull the line snug. Add six seed beads. Thread your line through the loop on a necklace clasp. Add six seed beads. Bring your line through the 1/4-inch round bead on the end of the necklace. Pull snug. Thread your line back through the same seed beads, loop, and seed beads. Bring your line back through the 1/4-inch round bead and pull snug. Repeat a third time and tie off the end of the line so that you can hid the knot inside the 1/4-inch bead. Your knots should be tight. Use pliers to help pull them tight.
