How to Start a Lawn Care Company? How About Not!

At least that is my opinion.
Most people these days that are interested in starting a lawn care biz are really only interested in the money.
Which I admit is appealing; a few months of work can turn into several thousands of dollars.
The downside I have come to know is that there are costs up front, costs of getting to and from, and costs to maintain.
All summer long.
Not to mention the constant battle of keeping your accounts, waste disposal and long hours in the hot sun.
So I invite you to hear me out regarding another business opportunity that can earn you comparable income with substantially less overhead and almost no time commitments.
You will be cleaning headstones.
Now don't run away yet.
I profited $25,000 last summer and worked only two weeks.
Think you can read a little bit more.
The theory behind lawn mowing is that most everyone has one and have of everyone doesn't want to do theirs.
So there is tons of work to be had.
The problem with this is that there is tons of hard work to be done; again and again on a weekly basis.
The same basic theory exists in headstone cleaning.
Most everyone knows of family headstones that need cleaned and maintained.
Cemeteries are filled with them! The problem for them is that they aren't to sure how to do it themselves nor is it worth the effort to do it.
The best part is unlike lawn care there is virtually no competition.
Searching the yellow pages and internet, you will find very few businesses that offer this type of service.
This is where you come in.
Spending little time and very little money you can acquire the knowledge, tools and equipments to clean headstones.
Then you just need to get the accounts; which can be done with minimal advertising and again for low cost.
You will be surprised how fast your name will travel by word of mouth and your client base will explode.
Booking hundreds of accounts at a minimum of $60 and up to $2000 a cleaning is not far fetched, it is generally about as much asyou can handle if you plan on working only 2 weeks a year like I do.
But the fourteen days of hard work are sure worth the fun relaxing days I have all summer long with cash in my pocket.
Whether you agree or not, I reassert my opinion that looking into headstone cleaning rather than lawn care will guarantee you a longer lasting and more profitable business.
At least give it a shot, then you can pay cash for lawn care equipment if you still decide to go that route.
