How to Make a Shrinky Dink Christmas Stocking
- 1). Go to a your local craft store to get Shrinky Dink sheets. You can also get them online from the original maker of Shrinky Dink.
- 2). Take a Shrink Dink sheet out of the package, with the rough side of the sheet facing up.
- 3). Use a red pencil crayon to draw an outline of a Christmas stocking. The drawing should be much larger than you actually want it because it is going to shrink when you put it in the oven.
- 4). Color the Christmas stocking with the pencil crayons. You can draw a holly leaf on the front or write your name across the top.
- 5). Cut out the Christmas stocking. You will need to leave a clear edge around the stocking so cut about ½ inch around the stocking.
- 6). Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F.
- 7). Place the Shrinky Dink stocking, rough side up, on the cookie sheet.
- 8). Place the cookie sheet in the oven for 60 seconds.
- 9). Allow the stocking to cool on the cookie sheet. Use a hole puncher to punch a hole in the stocking. Slide a string through the hole and hang it as an ornament from the Christmas tree.
