    • 1). Wash the cover, mixing paddle and freezer canister in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry all parts. Wipe motor base with a damp cloth.

    • 2). Place canister in a plastic bag and place in a freezer for approximately 48 hours or until frozen.

    • 3). Mix and prepare recipe ingredients according to the directions in the recipe.

    • 4). Remove freezer canister from freezer. Remove plastic bag and place on the base.

    • 5). Pour mixed ingredients into the canister while leaving at least 1/2 inche of space at the top of the canister.

    • 6). Place the cover on the freezer canister and lock the unit onto the motor base.

    • 7). Install the mixing paddle inside the freezer canister so that the ringside is on top.

    • 8). Plug the ice cream maker in and turn the switch to the desired consistency. Ice cream will require a harder consistency setting while yogurt and sherbet will require a soft consistency setting.

    • 9). Add additional ingredients as necessary by pouring the ingredients through the filling opening on the top cover.

      Turn the unit off after completion of the preparation cycle and remove the mixing paddle.

      Cover the mixture with a plastic lid and place the canister into the freezer to set the mixture. Ice cream will require 2 to 4 hours of freezing time while frozen yogurt will require 1 to 2 hours. Sorbet and sherbet should be frozen for 1 hour before serving.

      Use a plastic of wooden utensil to remove desired amount of mixture. Cover the remaining mixture with a plastic lid and place canister into freezer for later use.

      Wash mixing paddle, cover and freezer canister after use in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry all parts thoroughly before storage.
