    Cards

    • Card games are the home casino games with the simplest setup. For a casual game, you need a few decks and some friends willing to lay down cash. For increased formality or among strangers, purchase blackjack and poker layouts and chip sets. There are many variations of poker to play, as well as blackjack and bridge. All of these require little investment.

    Dice

    • A few casino dice games require no setup, including klondike, over-and-under seven and die rich. However, the game with the best odds for the player is craps, because the house has a low edge. You can get craps packages that come with the layout, dice, stick, puck and chips, allowing you to play at home. All you need is a table on a level surface and enough space for people to stand.

    Billiards

    • Though billiards may not be a traditional casino game, it is a traditional betting game. You can play with one other person or practice against yourself. A decent billiard table can run you a few hundred dollars to thousands of dollars. If you want to play, but don't want to invest, you can purchase a table-top billiard cover for less than $100.

    Other Games

    • Other games may not spring to mind when you set up your home casino but are nice to have available as a break from the traditional games, such as bingo and baccarat. For bingo, obtain a bingo kit, with the balls in a cage, a master board, chips and bingo cards. Baccarat is complicated but enjoyable game, which is sometimes played for high stakes in casinos. Investing in a baccarat kit gets you a layout, chips, and a "shoe."
