- 1). Open Macromedia Dreamweaver 8.
- 2). Click "Site" in the top menu bar and select "Manage Sites."
- 3). Single-click the name of the first site in the resulting list.
- 4). Hold the "Shift" key and single-click the name of the last site in the list. This selects all of the site definitions contained in Dreamweaver.
- 5). Click "Export."
- 6). Include your login, password and local paths in the site definition backup by selecting the "Back up my settings" option. Opt not to share this information by selecting "Share settings with other users." Click "Next" after making your selection.
- 7). Select a save location in the resulting dialog box. You can choose to back up the files to a folder on your computer or to a disc.
- 8). Click "Save." A copy of every selected site definition is exported to the location you selected in the previous step.
