How to Get a Full Body Tan Fast
- 1). Exfoliate your skin before tanning. Use a shower scrub and a washcloth to exfoliate arms, thighs and legs. This will remove dead skin, making it easier for new skin to tan. Women should shave their legs and remove wanted hair before tanning.
- 2). Pat yourself dry with your towel. Apply SPF 15 sunblock to your entire body. Use a spray sunblock to reach hard-to-rub places, like your back and your behind.
- 3). Cover up with a loose gown or towel.
- 4). Find a place in your yard or on your back porch that will allow you the privacy to sunbathe nude. Check for cracks in your privacy fencing before you settle down for your tan. Apartment dwellers might find privacy on a balcony. Cover the balcony railings with sheets or blankets for some privacy.
- 5). Position a fold-out tanning chair or blanket so that it receives full sun. Look for a bright, sunny spot with no overhanging tree limbs or shadows from buildings.
- 6). Remove your clothing. Put on your sunglasses.
- 7). Set your timer for 15 minutes. Lie on your back for fifteen minutes. When the timer goes off, lie on your stomach for 15 minutes. Set the timer each time so you do not tan over. Every day you tan, add a minute to your timing. Do not exceed 25 minutes per side.
