How to Edit Photos With Text
- 1). Open the graphics program and open the digital photograph you wish to edit within the graphics program ("File," "Open").
- 2). Select the "Font Tool" from above the workspace. Click the drop-down menu that lists the fonts available within the graphics program and select the font you wish to use by highlighting it. Select a color for the font within the materials palette (above or to the side of the workspace) and enter a number into the font size box to make the font the size you desire.
- 3). Click your mouse once onto the photograph where you wish to add the text. Enter the text you wish into the text box that appears and click "Apply."
- 4). Click "Layers," "Merge" and "Merge All" to merge the text layer with the photograph layer.
- 5). Save your embellished photograph by clicking "File" and "Save As." Name the photograph a different name than the original to enable you to save both the original and the embellished photograph.
