How to Get a Trucking Broker License
- 1). Work in the trucking and freight industry and learn to broker. A trucking broker license does not require proof of education as a broker. However, obtaining training through an apprenticeship or by working directly with a broker is well-advised. Large transportation companies may actually train you as a broker. Be aware that freight industry training schools do not answer to an industry standard and are not monitored by a third party. Look for instructors who actually work in the trucking industry as a broker to get the best training.
