Toning is a process of using a lotion that cleanses the skin and shrinks the pores, adequately preparing the skin for moisturizing.
The results of toning are smaller, tighter pores, cleaner skin and firmer tighter skin, and restoring your skin's optimal Ph level, thus balancing it, prior to applying moisturizer.
Mix two tablespoons of lemon juice with one tablespoon glycerin and three tablespoons of rose water.
Rub this juice on the skin.

Oily skinned people should tone with an astringent lotion, applying to the oiliest places, that is sides of the nose, chin and forehead.
Follow a proper cleansing schedule on a regular basis.
Use only a medicated soap or a cleanser.

Try to avoid using normal soap, some soap have chemical ingredients that are good for your hands but definitely not good for your face, another important step in a mans skin care proses is using a good natural moisturizer cream, just like with the soap you want to avoid all products containing chemicals.
Exfoliation is again an optional step in everyday routine for facial skincare.
However, exfoliation is necessary at least once a week (or twice, depending on the skin type and the environmental conditions).
Exfoliation finds its place in facial skincare routine because of the natural tendency of skin to replenish the skin cells every 3 or 4 weeks.
Toners are less emphasized as an accepted skin care routine these days.
Toners are used to recondition our skin, and give it a balance of natural skin sebum.
Usually, there are two types of toners.
One is meant for oily skin types and the other for dry skin types.
The dry skin toner type contains little or no alcohol so that it will not dries the skin further.
Compounds like allantoin, glycerin and soothing plants extracts can be found in toners for dry skin.
After toning, your face will feel less stretched and more taut.
