How to Remove Blue Ink Pen Stains

1). Put a rag on the underside of the ink stain to prevent it from bleeding onto unaffected areas of the clothing.
2). Dampen a clean rag with dry cleaning solvent, and dab the solvent onto the ink stain. Move to a clean part of the rag to continue sponging with dry cleaning solvent until the blue ink is no longer transferring to the rag. Rinse the area well with cool water.
3). Dampen another clean rag with rubbing alcohol. Put a fresh cloth on the underside of the stain, and dab the alcohol onto the ink spot. Let the garment sit to air-dry.
4). Put a few drops of laundry detergent onto the spot if any ink remains. Rub it in, and let the garment set overnight.
5). Rinse the garment the next day under cool water. Then, apply a laundry pretreatment product to the area, and launder as usual.

1). Make a paste in a bowl with 3 parts milk and 1 part cornstarch. Smooth the paste onto the blue ink stain.
2). Wait two to three hours for the paste to dry. Brush up the paste with a dry rag, and then vacuum the carpet.
3). Moisten a clean rag with dry cleaning solvent to remove any traces of the ink. Dab the dry cleaning solvent onto the ink stain, and then soak up the liquid with a dry cloth.
4). Mix 1 tbsp. of dish soap, 2 cups of warm water and 1 tbsp. of vinegar into a clean bowl if the stain is still there. Dab the concoction onto the stain with a clean rag, and blot it with another clean rag to soak up the moisture. Alternate dabbing on the vinegar mixture, then blotting with a dry rag until the ink stain is gone.
5). Sponge cold water onto the affected area of the carpet to rinse. Blot with a clean rag to dry.

1). Soak a rag with undiluted white vinegar, and sponge the vinegar onto the ink spot.
2). Allow the vinegar to set on the spot for a few minutes. Then, scrub the wall gently with the vinegar-soaked rag until the ink disappears.
3). Rinse the wall with a clean rag and water, and then dry thoroughly.

2). Dab the dry cleaning solvent onto the blue ink spot. Blot the area with a dry rag to absorb the moisture. Repeat this process of sponging on the solvent, and then blotting with a dry rag until the ink is gone.
3). Sponge rubbing alcohol onto the spot if the upholstery is leather. Let it set for about 30 minutes, and then blot up the alcohol with a soft cloth. Rinse the leather by wiping it with a clean rag and a solution of 1/4 cup of white vinegar and 1 qt. of warm water. Wipe the leather again with a damp cloth, and then dry thoroughly.
