    • 1). Place a crisp dollar bill on the table with the George Washington side facing up.

    • 2). Fold the dollar bill on the white line at the bottom of the bill. It should fold up towards George Washington. Fold the top half down so that it touches the bottom edge.

    • 3). Fold the top half down again so that it is folded in half. Turn the dollar bill over and lay it down on the table horizontally so that the number one is showing up on either side.

    • 4). Fold the left part up vertically to line the right edge up with the left side of the "E." The only words that are showing is "E Dollar."

    • 5). Fold the long part of the dollar to the left over the short part of the dollar. Turn the dollar over so that the short part is going down vertically on the right.

    • 6). Place your index finger over the short part. Pick the left side of the long part up with your left hand and wrap it around your finger one time.

    • 7). Fold the piece that is laying on your finger up over the other part toward the tip of your finger. Take the ring off of your finger.

    • 8). Tuck the part that is sticking up in the air into the flap that was formed on the inside of the ring. Bend the piece that is sticking out to the side over the flap that you just tucked in and tuck the end into the side of the flap. The number one should be showing on the front of the ring.
