How to Clean Power-Spraying Equipment
- 1). Disconnect the power-spraying equipment from the wall outlet, if you have it plugged in.
- 2). Take off any nozzles or quick-connect pieces from the power-spraying hose.
- 3). Soak the nozzles and quick connect pieces in a solution of warm soapy water. You can include 1/4-cup of white vinegar if there is some buildup that you need to remove.
- 4). Use a dry cloth to wipe down the power spraying equipment. If there is not a lot of grime or buildup, this may be enough to get it clean. You can also remove the tank and wipe it out or rinse it with warm water.
- 5). Dip a soft cloth in some warm soapy water and use it to wash down the rest of the power-spraying equipment, if it is really dirty. Make sure that you ring out some of the water so that you do not drip water into the electrical part of the machine.
- 6). Let the machine dry completely before using it again, if you have used the wet cloth. You want to make sure that you do not accidentally electrocute yourself. You can even use a hair dryer to dry any areas that are still damp.
