How to Make Individual Easter Gifts
- 1). Clean an old light bulb using rubbing alcohol.
- 2). Use yellow craft paint to paint the entire light bulb. Allow the paint to dry.
- 3). Use craft glue or a hot glue gun to glue two small black beads to the light bulb for eyes. They should be located on the metal threading of the bulb.
- 4). Cut a small orange triangle out of craft foam and glue it below the eyes where a duck's beak would be.
- 5). Tie a ten inch piece of thin ribbon around the base of the metal threading of the light bulb and tie it into a bow.
- 6). Glue two yellow feathers to the side of the bulb for the duck's wings.
- 7). Glue a small straw hat to the top of the metal threading for the duck's hat. You can find these in your local craft store.
- 8). Use scissors to cut a piece of orange craft foam into a heart shape. Glue the heart to the bulb end of the light bulb for the duck's feet.
- 1). Remove the label from an empty white, plastic frosting can. Use dish soap and water to clean the inside of the container and allow it to dry completely.
- 2). Use white craft glue or a hot glue gun to adhere white cotton balls all over the outside sides of the can. Make sure the cotton balls are fairly close to one another. Allow the glue to dry.
- 3). Use scissors to cut two ears out of a piece of black felt. The easiest way to do this is to cut the shape of a capital D out of the felt that is about an inch tall, but do not cut out the center. Use your glue to adhere the ears to the cotton balls, out to the side, where a lamb's ears would be.Use scissors to cut two hooves out of a piece of black felt. The easiest way to do this is to cut out two squares that are about a half an inch tall. Round the top two corners on each hoof. Use your glue to adhere the hooves to the cotton balls, on the bottom of the can where a lamb's hooves would be.
- 4). Finish the face. Use your glue to adhere two medium-sized googly eyes between the ears where a lamb's eyes would be. Then glue a small black pom-pom where a lamb's nose would be. Cut and tie an eight inch piece of thin ribbon into a bow. The color should be a pastel color. Glue the bow below the lamb's nose around where a lamb's neck should be.
- 5). Fill the inside of the can with Easter candies such as jelly beans or robin's eggs. Add pencils with Easter patterns on them and give it as a gift.
