Don"t Be Fooled by Books on Restoring Relationships!

It's easy to be fooled by many relationship books on the market today.
If your ex has just broken up with you, you may well be looking for some good written advice on how to handle yourself and how to get your ex back.
But how do you choose the right sort of information that is likely to work for you - especially when there is so much drivel out there? Read on and apply these simple rules! First, go straight to the testimonials and don't just read them but analyse them: how many are they; do they seem similarly written...
; are they written by people from the same background; are they written by both genders; have they all had the same problem; do they come from a specific geographical location? The best sort of testimonial for a book would be a number of them that come from a wide background of people - both men and women, in different stages in their relationships from a wide geographical area (e.
g.
from the US, UK and Australia).
Why? because books which have helped so many people from such a wide back ground are more likely able to help YOU! Makes sense? Second, don't get impressed by fancy letters after an author's name.
There are too many people who have spent the majority of their time studying and or teaching the 'theory' of things.
However the expert that you should be looking for are the ones that have been through the 'relationship wars' first hand.
People who have restored their own relationship with their partner and who have helped restore the relationships of many other people.
Only then can you be sure that their is true empathy with your own hurting situation.
Next, be careful not to spend your money on books that basically tell you to put your relationship on hold for a period of time while you 'self help' and fix yourself! It is not that this is such a bad thing - we all can all become better people - but you are probably looking to restore your relationship and get your ex back now.
Therefore there is the need for strong practical advice that will make an impact on you and your partner now.
Instead you need information that will give you techniques to get you and your partner talking again; a book that will show you how to meet up with your partner after a bust up and what to say; information that will show you how to recover after an affair; and a book that will give will it give you specific techniques to get relief from your pain?
