DIY Pedestal Table With an Urn Planter Base
- 1). Combine 1/4 cup trisodium phosphate with 1 gallon water in a bucket. Dip a scrub brush in the bucket and scrub the urn down. Pat it down with old towels and allow it to air dry.
- 2). Run a tape measure across the diameter of the urn. Write the measurement down. Add 4 inches to it. This is the diameter of the round tabletop you will select to go on top of the urn.
- 3). Visit a hardware store and purchase a perfectly circular piece of glass to go over the urn. The glass should at least be 1 inch thick. This way, the glass will be heavy and there will be no risk of the glass sliding off the table.
- 4). Add a round decorative tray on top of the glass. The tray should be around the same size as the glass or slightly smaller. The tray will give the urn a splash of color and hide the view of the inner parts of the urn.
