- 1). Turn off your game console and turn on your computer. Open up your Internet browser.
- 2). Click on the "Start" button on your desktop and select "All programs." Click on the "Accessories" submenu, and open up "Command Prompt."
- 3). Type "ipconfig" in to the bar at the bottom of the program. Search for your wireless router details. Write down the address of your "Default Gateway."
- 4). Type your router's default gateway into the address bar in order to gain access to your router settings. Depending on your router, you may have to enter a username and password.
- 5). Select the "Advanced Settings" on your router and then click on "UPnP". Tick the box to enable UPnP. Restart your router. Turn on your console. You will now be able to find games quicker on Modern Warfare 2, as your NAT type will be open.
