For every girl out there who has felt moments of self-consciousness, this is the show for you! When a publishing giant hands over his business to his womanizing son, he searches for and hires the one woman in New York his son would never sleep with to be his assistant.
Betty is a sweet and intelligent woman, but she stands out like a tacky suit in the world of high fashion.
Season 3 finds Betty moving up in the world as she leaves her home in Queens and moves to a apartment in New York City after earning a slot at YETI (the prestigious Young Editors Training Institute). Will she ever be able to fit into this new world?

Is 'Ugly Betty' Worth Your Hard-Earned Cash
After coming off what some feel was a lackluster sophomore season, the third season of Ugly Betty seemed to have finally found its footing. With the series in a major ratings slump, I think much of the season lived under the threat of cancellation, forcing the writers to pen (and the actors deliver) each episode as if it were its last -- making for a stellar year for everyone at Mode. If you've been a faithful follower of the series, adding the third season is a must. Be sure to pass it around to your friends and family so everyone can have a much-needed dose of Betty.
