Charmed Season 5
Charmed season 5 was first broadcast in 2002 to 2003 on the Warner Brothers Network. Featuring 22 full length episodes following in the lives of the most powerful good witches in history, the Charmed Ones.
Charmed season 5 begins with Phoebe (Alyssa Milano), having finally managed to land a steady day job as a Newspaper Advice Columnist (Rebecca Balding joins the cast of Charmed in the recurring role of Elise, Phoebe's boss).
Phoebe has initiated divorce proceedings against her demonic-turned-good husband Cole (Julian McMahon), suspecting he is in fact still a demon, despite him trying his best to convince her that he has turned over a new leaf. But knowing Cole it can only be a matter of time before he reverts to his demonic alter ego once again.
Paige (Rose McGowan), the telekinetic Halliwell half sister, is slowly coming to terms with responsibilities of her new job as a Social Worker. Although she doesn't like it and is soon finding it increasingly difficult to maintain her job and her supernatural double life.
Also in season 5, Phoebe and Cole's baby believed to be slated as the Ruler of The Underworld, has been kidnapped by The Seer. The Seer is a female demon who in season four, briefly took the form of Cole and tricked Phoebe into marriage.
Cole has discovered that their baby is destined to become the new Source (a particularly powerful demon who fans will remember from previous series' when he caused no end of trouble for the charmed ones).
Cole is stricken by his conscience and begs the Halliwell sisters to help him cleanse all the evil inside him by performing an exorcism. They succeed in this task as the fifth season reaches the halfway mark.
Later in season 5, Piper (Holly Marie Combs) gives birth to her son Wyatt and even at such a young age his powers soon become apparent. He is able to create a force field that deflects all demonic activity.
Finally, Paige finds her job far too restricting and quits, determined to use her powers to for the benefit of mankind.
