Arabic - Tough But Intoxicating

Do you remember how you feel when you accomplish a task that took you a lot of hard work and months of work? Rewarding, inspiring or perhaps a feel-good pride for self.
For those who are learning Arabic or are about to start learning Arabic, it would be a toilsome experience and would take a lot out of you.
For the English speaking mass, it may even be frustrating.
But once you are through with your learning stint, you would perhaps be intoxicated by your achievement and would take pride in the fact that you learned to read and write Arabic.
Experts do not deny the fact that Arabic is a tough language to master.
This is because it is different from most of the Latin languages we know of.
For one, it is written from right to left.
Writing Arabic itself requires you to train your brain to read and write from right to left.
The language however opens up many doors for you.
You could spiritually enhance your knowledge by reading the Quran in the original language it was written in.
You could stumble on to some ancient records that can be deciphered only in Arabic.
If you plan to make a trip to Egypt or study the Egyptian history, you would have an added advantage.
Different people have different reasons to learn the language, but all have agreed that it is one of the most fascinating experience and an achievement they always cherish.
It takes time to learn any language and Arabic is no exception.
In fact it may take you an extra month to get done with the basics of the language.
A student needs to be patient and should realize that he/she has chosen to learn a very tough language that requires months of attention and hard work.
Arabic phrases and words are tough to even pronounce and it would require you to completely focus on the language while learning it.
Saying that the language is tough does not mean that it is not possible to understand or learn the language.
With proper practice and good training one can surely learn the language with some ease if not much.
The internet helps you with almost all kinds of languages and the pronunciations of their words.
Willingness to learn should definitely get you there in a matter of few months.
So if you wish to start your learning stint, don't wait for the right time because the right time is now and a few months down the line you might be experiencing pride and kudos for the self.
