    • 1). Turn on the computer and let it boot up normally. If you plan to use an external mouse, plug it in once the computer loads.

    • 2). Press the "Fn" and "F8" buttons at the same time to bring up a window with the mouse settings. The "Fn" button is located in the lower left corner of the keyboard.

    • 3). Click "Disable" on the touchpad settings to deactivate it. Click "OK" to confirm the settings.
