Removing a Flat Top Jenn-Air Stove

    • 1). Turn off the range breaker in your home's service panel, or unplug the power cord if it is accessible.

    • 2). Open the oven door and look at the underside of the front of the flat-top panel. Locate the screws that secure the top to the cabinet. There may be two to four screws, depending on the model of your Jenn-Air range.

    • 3). Remove the screws from the underside of the front of the flat-top panel then close the oven door.

    • 4). Lift the main top up, and secure it in an elevated position using a support rod.

    • 5). Remove the screws and brackets securing each burner to the underside of the flat-top panel.

    • 6). Lift the panel up and off of the range.
